HELP! Our newly fostered kitten has ringworm
We got this cute little ball of fluff 3 weeks ago and love him to bits.On bringing him to the vet, he was diagnosed with ringworm. The vet has prescribed oral meds for 5 weeks, but 2 weeks in and there seems to be little improvement. I am washing floors daily with bleach and vacuming constantly. He is not allowed into any bedrooms or livingrooom but we have a tiled kitchen and diningroom. I know that quarantine in a room which is unused is what's recommended and for a lot of the day, he is in a small room which looks into the kitchen, but because he's just a baby, it seems so cruel to have him confined all day so we allow him to roam around and play some of the time. I can't sustain the whole cleaning business much longer. Just want to know if anyone else has been in the same boat and need reassurance that this ringworm will eventually resolve itself
Hello! The ringworm will go away....it can take 2-3 good weeks! My cat also had ringworm and actually gave it to me, but I recovered very fast and so did my kitty cat
