My (brother) is a little too protective.(PLEASE HELP!)?

Okay so I am 14 my boyfriend is 15 and my brother is 16. Well the point is when my boy friend came over to watch a movie in my room (the door was open) and when my brother came to ask em what kind of pizza I wanted he saw him and flipped out. He had a talk with him and it ended up as a fist fight I was so embarrassed and after he started cussing me out for having him in my room. He is like stalking me at school and the other day he hit me for skipping cheer leading to be with the other girls. I might not ever have another boyfriend again my boyfriend and I are still together but he is afraid to go in my house now. My dad died in 9/11 and we had to go to the memorial/tribute funeral he has a lot on his plate but I did NOTHING to him to deserve this. Some one please help me! ( =

I am in the exact same situation as you, except im the older brother, however, I am not as protective of my sister as I am of my house. I think your boyfriend should stop going to your house, instead you should go to his place. It's obvious that your brother is just trying to act the same way he thinks your dad would act, and by you bringing your boyfriend home, you are not helping you are only making it worse, this is the same advice I give to most teenagers on this website, you MUST THINK before you act. Don't do things without thinking about the consequences, after you've done that you must weigh your options and decide whether or not it's worth the hassle, of course there are certain things that are worth the hassle, such as your future husband, for example, but because of your age, it seems to me this relationship of yours won't last too long and before you know it you'll have a new boy within a year. So yeah, understand that your brother most likely would feel the need to fill the void your dad left, and by you bringing a boy into the house it's kind of a slap in the face. However, I do not agree with his stalking and hitting antics you've described, I think the best option is to talk to him, and you might be surprised at what you'll find out.
