Who said: "The great masses of the people will more easily fall victims to a big lie than to a small one"?
And this:
"Tell a big enough lie and tell it often and it will become truth"
or
"Success is the important thing. ...The point of a political speech is to persuade people of what we think right. .... We do not want to be a movement of a few straw brains, but rather a movement that can conquer the broad masses. Propaganda should be popular, not intellectually pleasing. It is not the task of propaganda to discover intellectual truths."
I wonder if he is Obama's speech writer. Any thoughts?
God, it's like the entire Obama campaign wrapped up in one sentence.
Oh, and to answer the question of who said it, it's a derivitive of an Adolf Hitler quote which went like this "Make the lie big, make it simple, keep saying it, and eventually they will believe it” So no, Hitler can't really be his speech writer, although I'm almost certain his speech writer studied alot of Hitler's methodology and his rise to power.
