how do i save a JPG file at 5000 o-something? Photo Shop!! for print a large poster?
a company needs a file in a certain format to use my image ( lettering and a photo) on a vinyl style surface they said they need a JPG saved in a 5000-- something (resoultion?) what th he!l is that and can i do it with photoshop
If you try to enlarge an image instead of starting out with a large image to begin with, the image will become distorted and pixelated.

It will not look very good.
They might have said DPI or PPI. That would be Dots Per Inch or Pixels Per Inch (which are interchangeable- they mean the same thing). If you don't have a "larger" version of the image you are trying to use, you'll have to sacrifice quality in order to blow it up, and you may not like the results. Photoshop WOULD be able to do that, but chances are, you're not going to like what you see.
