Tour Introduction

From Hanoi, the capital city you will start your tour with some main attractions like Ho Chi Minh complex, Vietnam national museum of Ethnology, the best museum in S.E Asia for hilly tribes collection and in Hanoi you will visit local family for Tet activities. Driving to Ha Long, the natural wonder listed by UNESCO. You will see the limestone scenery and typical countryside in the north of Vietnam.

The central area with Hue, the last imperial city and with Hoi An, the 17th well-preserved town is considered as the cultural heart of the country. You will visit splendor Forbidden City and enjoy peaceful boat trip along the Perfume River. In Hue, one of the highlight is to enjoy royal banquet on the occassion of Tet in Vietnamese Traditional House.

Visiting local family, joining to worshipping ceremony in 17th century Town of Hoian are pretty chance to understand Vietnamese culture.

Flying to Saigon, now Ho Chi Minh City, a city of contrasts between new and old, Modern and tradition, west and east, you will visit one of the most beautiful city in Asia. Vietnam War Remnant Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral, colorful Chinatown.

Tour Detailed Itinerary

Day 01: Hanoi Arrival ( D ) - 12 Feb, or 29 Dec in Vietnam Lunar Calendar

On arrival at Hanoi's Noi Bai International Airport, you will be welcomed and transferred by private car through the city to your hotel which located in city center. In the evening, be our guest at Vietnameses restaurant for welcomed dinner. Overnight at hotel in Hanoi.

Day 02: Hanoi ( B, L ) - 13 Feb, New Year’s Eve Celebration

After breakfast at your hotel, The city Tour in the capital city of Hanoi includes Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, the Presidential Palace, Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilt and One Pillar Pagoda. We continue to Temple Of Literature, the first university in Vietnam, and  There are many cutural activities during Tet celebration in the temple such as calligraphy, worshiping ceremony, cock-fighting.... We move to Vietnam National Museum of Ethnology built in 1997 for introduction of 54 ethnic minorities in Vietnam. Enjoy lunch at Cha Ca La Vong restaurant which is listed in the travel book “1000 places to see before you die”. This special fish restaurant has been serving the same dish for the past 3 decades and considered as symbol of Hanoi's authentic cuisine. After having lunch, we will visit one of local family and have talk on the different between Tet in the past and at the present, then a walking tour around in The Old Quarter is a pretty chance for Hanoi daily life on the occasion of Tet and in the evening, you will enjoy Water Puppet Performance, an unique art performance shown only in Vietnam and gather for tonight’s special New Year celebration dinner. By 10 pm, your local tour guide accompanies you to Hoan Kiem Lake, where New Year’s music festival and the fireworks party will be start at midnight. Overnight in Hanoi

Day 03: Hanoi - Halong Bay ( B, L, D ) –14 Feb or the first day of New Year

Today you will get up early to leave Hanoi by road for Halong Bay, the world natural heritage site, you will drive though the rural area with scenic view of rice paddy field in the Red River Delta. On the occasion, you may be lucky enough to see Vietnamese kids ridding on water buffalo or Vietnamese people carrying pigs and cows on motorbike. After 3 hours driving, you will be arrived Ha Long city then board wonderful classic wooden cruise.

Having sea food lunch while cruising among hundreds of islets to discover the beauty of Halong Bay, you will disembark to visit 'Sung Sot' or “Surprising Cave”, one of the most amazing grottos of the Bay. After the cave visit, it is time for swimming in the bay and sunset from the top of island. In the evening you will enjoy sea food dinner. Overnight on board in Ha long bay.

Day 04: Halong Bay - Hanoi - Danang - Hoi an (B, L) – 15 Feb or the second day of New Year

Getting up early in Halong Bay, the world nature heritage and having a swim, and then a breakfast. You will move sampan for upcloser look to the fabulous Halong Bay by visiting “Hang Luon” or “Lagoon Cave” then row back to cruise. Today we will see different part of the bay then enjoy the last seafood meal before arriving back at cruise pier at 12.00 for disembarkation. In the afternoon you will go back to Hanoi for short flight (1 hour) to Da Nang then transfer to Hoi An.  Overnight at Hotel in Hoi An.

Day 05: Hoi an (B, L) – 16 Feb or the third day of New Year

After your breakfast you will take a short bike to the ancient town of Hoi An and a walking tour is the best way to see this marvelous town. Visit a local house to discover the difference between Tet in the North and the Center. Lunch at local restaurant with traditional food for New Year . In the afternoon, you will take a leisure boat ride to Thanh Ha Ceramic Village or bike around Hoian for Tet atmosphere. In the evening, you will be free at leisure.Overnight at hotel in Hoi An

Day 06: Hoi an - Hue ( B, L, D ) – 17 Feb or the forth day of New Year

After your breakfast, we will leave Hoi An for the city of Hue, the former imperial capital of Vietnam. In Da Nang visit the Cham Museum, before climbing over the  ‘Pass of Ocean and Clouds'. As your arrival in Hue, we will tour the major attractions in Hue for instance The Imperial Citadel where the Nguyen Dynasty ruled between 1802 and 1945. After exploring the site where only mandarins and emperor’ guest  could visit, we continue to the Hue Royal Fine Arts Museum for fabulous royal antique collection and the King Minh Mang Tomb. In the evening the highlight of the tour is New Year’s royal banquet in one of Hue's beautiful garden houses. In the past Vietnamese emperor used to have these cuisines to remember and honor Vietnamese ancestors. Overnight at hotel in Hue

Day 07: Hue - Hochiminh City ( B, D ) –17 Feb or the fifth day of New Year

Depart for Hue Airport after breakfast for the short flight to dynamic Ho Chi Minh City, still called Saigon by the locals. Take an orientation tour of the city to the Nguyen Hue Flower street, the War Remnants Museum, Notre Dame Cathedral , The former Presidential Palace and City Post Office, one of the most beautiful French colonial style building. Have lunch in the local restaurant and then experience New Year activities in Suoi Tien Amusement Park. In the evening, you will enjoy Vietnamese dinner with southern taste at local restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 08: Hochiminh City - Mekong Delta -Hochiminh City ( B, L ) -18 Feb or the sixth day of New Year

After breakfast at your hotel you will depart for the Mekong Delta, leaving the hustle and bustle of the city behind to travel through Vietnam's picturesque countryside with its rice paddies and rural villages. Upon arrival in the Delta board private motor-boat to visit Ca?i Be? floating market, evergreen orchard and local family then we will move to traditional sampan that allows you to discover the smaller canals and tributaries of this region. You'll enjoy a gentle boat ride as part of a leisurely exploration of the Mekong River and its hidden treasures. In the afternoon we will have lunch at local restaurant with Elephant Ear Fish and go back to Ho Chi Minh City. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh

Day 09: Hochiminh City Departure (B) - 19 Feb or the seventh day of New Year

Today, you will have free day for your own activities in Ho Chi Minh City. Your private car and guide will take you to Tan Son Nhat Airport for international flights or a domestic extension.
